UI does not hide during playback #377

I am on a Samsung Galaxy S8. If I invoke the UI during playback, then it does not hide and just stays there for ever instead. I have to completely stop the playback and restart to fix it.

I have the same issue. You can see the bar with the title and poster at the bottom and even if you let the movie run it stays visible and prevents the subtitles from being displayed at all. Strangely enough, I only see this problem with movies, not tv series.

I'm running the latest version of the Jellyfin app on android (got an update yesterday) and tested on a Samsung S8 and Samsung A20e. The server is running Jellyfin 10.6.0 in a docker container with Ubuntu 18.04 as the base OS, running the latest Docker version and Traefik 2.2.7 as a reverse proxy. Playback was through a Chromecast within the same network. I don't see anything useful in the logs.

For some reason I got a similar but to happen sometimes on chrome. I have oh seen the problem with tv series.

When I go back to the main menu than replay the movie/show the problem goes away.

I think on mobile a trigger might be using the brightness and or volume slider.
