I have the same problem on my iPad with iPadOS 17.1

I've had this a few times. One time I had it occur, I happened to be running two server instances of jellyfin (pointing at the same library) and it didn't manifest when using one of them. Also when that occurred, other front-end clients didn't have the same issue (running in browser as well as using jellyfin media player on mac).

I have the same issue where I seem unable to change the audio track.

Is there a way to help debug this?

ShyViolets commented 4 months ago

Having this issue on appletv still as well. A audio track marked as Japanese is selected but the English track plays. This isn’t the first time this has occurred and it’s happened with multiple shows.

Having the same issue on the Apple TV as well. Connecting to the same server via the web-browser I can successfully change the audio track for the same movie I cannot on the TV. Any way we can help by providing more information on the movie itself or the setup?

Ya same here. It plays the commentary track even though it's not selected and I can't do anything to change it. Insanely infuriating. Super basic functionality that can't be implemented correctly...?

I still have this issue on Apple TV/tvOS. My work around is to use VLC media player to get the file over SMB. Sucks that the work around is "don't use jellyfin" but wanted to throw this out there for others experiencing this issue.
