Live TV guide menu crashes Roku TV #1347

Describe the bug

Using a M3U link for IPTVINI (free trial) with ~20k channels and ~100k VOD options. The Live TV 'library' comes up and is accessible, but the navigation is unmanageable. Changing the view to 'Guide' crashes the Roku TV after a moment - perhaps due to a stack overflow. (On the plus side, if I search for a specific station like "MSG" from the Jellyfin client home screen the IPTV results do show up in the result, so I can access channels I know about that way.)

NOTABLY - I have never setup Live TV before. I assume this is a bug simply because the TV Guide comes up in the web browser with preview images for channels. However, it does not provide an actual schedule of shows. I half expect that I still need to configure a Guide Data Provider on the server rather than relying it to automatically be part of the M3U playlist.

How To Reproduce

  1. Go to IPTVINI.com or presumably any other IPTV provider and get a M3U service URL to setup in Jellyfin Server as your IPTV Tuner Device and refresh the Guide data - waiting for it to complete (couple of hours in my case, though the bug was present before the guide data was fully "refreshed').
  2. Click on "Live TV" library tile in Jellyfin Roku Client.
  3. Press "*" and change the "View" to "TV Guide".
  4. Bug occurs

Expected behavior

TV Guide to populate as it does in the web browser.

Logs

I won't have access to the server logs for a week or so.

Screenshots

Imagine the TV Guide with a refresh symbol over it, and then a black screen.

I love Jellyfin! Thank you all for your contributions.

Not a solution per-se but you can add xTeve in front of Jellyfin to maintain and filter the large list of channels.
