Fira Sans Bold is too bulky for UI use. #13

After spending some time with Fira Sans as my default UI typeface in OSX Yosemite, I have to say that it works beautifully with one exception.

Its bold counterpart is too heavy, too bulky as a UI typeface for highlighting important bits, especially in menus. I think Fira Sans Semibold would look much better and less intimidating overall. Don't forget that UI typefaces should be easily readable in all weights and sizes.

Agreed; hat issue made me go back to Yosemite’s stock Helvetica Neue. Semibold would be far more legible.

I agree with you :)

I have adjusted the Bold and Medium weights to look a little bit lighter, please download the fonts again and try if you like it better.
