This has stopped working on Linux since v7.0 #1

Pop OS 22.04, running Pipewire. Previously I was able to just plug in any MIDI device and it would immediately work within a couple seconds. Now since Reaper version 7.0 there is no difference bwteen having this installed and not having it installed - I have to go and manually connect the devices in my patchbay regardless.

I think we chatted about this on the forum. I'll need to build a system matching yours in order to figure this out, I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to do so. It appears to work fine on a Mint system without Pipewire, just as a data point.

What info do you need me to provide? I'm certain I'm missing something crucial

I'm just going to install Pop & Pipewire into a VirtualBox VM on a PC and see what I see.

Have you gone back to REAPER 6 and confirmed that it still works?

I can confirm that it functions just fine in Reaper version 6.83. I think it breaks because of the new MIDI Devices menu somehow, like the way it scans in the new version, but I'm not sure
