Enhancement Request: It should be possible to create a Track manually. #126

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

It would have been a nice feature,if a track can be created manually! This
will help a user many ways:

1. I would prefer to create a track (by clicking on the map, on each street
I want to go by) and then transfer that track to my cell for easy navigation.
2. To guide some one to a place (known to me), I would have created a track
manually and then would have given the file to him (second person) for him
to navigate.

I am sorry that I could not change the 'Type' to 'Enhancement'.

For 2 weeks I merged some changes to the trunk (r424) that includes a route
editor.
The current route can be exported as track, so it is also a track editor (I
won't use
it to modify recorded tracks, because they have so many points. But creating
tracks
manually is ok).

It's not clear when the next official version will be released, but in the
meantime I
can deliver beta versions per email.

Thanks for your update. It would be really nice if you can send the beta
version to
me by mail. I need the Win xp version (for my laptop), so that I can manually
create
tracks and send it to my cellphone. Thanks again!
