Hello,
i sorry to hear that. From the stacktrace, the bug seems to be chrome crashing. so i would think it is a chrome issue more than an extension issue.
Nothing of what i do in the extension should trigger that. Ultimatly the extensions is only a webpage. and a webpage shouldnt crash the browser.
Jerome:
Not a real problem now that I understand how to use it on Firefox. I love your results and appreciate all you have done on ThreeJS.
A while back I asked you if you did freelance stuff. I think you were
put off a bit by our small size and lack of funds. In the mean time, I
build the attached. I really need expertise on this as it is my first
real JS program. It has an editor, then a series of viewport 'sets'
each having 1 to 4 viewports, all having asynch control over the webGL.
The viewport set level manages the objects for the viewports, and the
editor level is controlling the ajax level for the viewport sets.
This is all for the project. The project is explained in our patent:
http://google.com.na/patents/US20140075004
The front end is just for the proof of concept, but works well with 2000
objects - far more than we need at once on the screen. All the spheres
are part of a 3D tree for associative searching,
If you hear of anyone who would like to work on this it would be great.
Anyway, thanks.
Dennis

I think it is a problem with El Capitan. When you click on Add to Chrome, in any place (on the store or on the detail page for inspector), a most recent version of everything, the mac logs out of the user. Great trick, since it takes a lot to make that happen, but it is probably a protection violation caused by a memory leak:
