PS, it's the same with or without a VPN. Also friends with different ISP providers have the same issue. Also tried other add ons like the Crew etc and these are the same also. Only links to internet scraped torrents work!? i.e Dood scraper app.
Thanks to bjgood, see: https://github.com/jewbmx/ScraperWork/issues/3#issuecomment-1987092757
If you need a step by step procedure:
tv.kodi.Kodi/data/addons/plugin.video.scrubsv2/resources/lib/sources/working/
or for window$:
%appdata%\Kodi\addons\plugin.video.scrubsv2\resources\lib\sources\working\
now more links:
Aah thanks for this. I'd try it if I knew how as my kodi is on a firestick so don't know how to get to the required folder/filepath as shown. Apologies for this, if there's a "how to" glad to have a go as seems the way to solve it. thanks again.
Top fix thanks tried it on my Windows PC and it solves the issue. Just searching to find out how to do it on my firestick. Excellant help thanks BJgood and Jays home brew team.
well, for firesticks, just use adbLink http://www.jocala.com/ use a search engine 'adblink firestick' and follow the tutorials.
use the push/pull in adbLink to the folder: /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.scrubsv2/resources/lib/sources/working/
+update+ If you have a newer firestick, aka firestick 4K max; adbLink works, but you can't copy files into the sdcard folder.. so follow these instructions. Otherwise wait for @jewbmx to update the addon; or modify scrubsv2 to make a fork and use it temporarily.
Typical thanks I do have a 4k Max firestick and a smart android TV to sort out also. Works fine on windows though so thanks for your help and BJgood's. I'll get it sorted eventually and I'm Learning all the time even @69.

Ok sorted it on the firestick eventually using a combo of wireless file manager and file explorers. So after a lot of larking about all working thanks.

@Notsure66 I was able to unzip the scrubs folder, copy and paste the py file into the working folder. Then I compressed the folder again. I didn't have to use the adb link. I did it on my computer. It worked for shows I couldn't get links on. Oh and I downloaded the app easy fire tools and connected to my firestick. I uploaded the zip files that way. Thanks @jayshomebrew !
@Notsure66 @Melann956 here's one you can test, but seems to work for TV shows. It is super slow (at least for me), but sometimes the turtle wins the race.
You may have to increase your Providers Timeout under general settings/playback settings. Mine is set to 60 for this to work.
screenshot showing valid links. I disabled all other providers on purpose. Tested GOT, reacher, Loki.
@jayshomebrew Thanks. I Tried the py file on the show the cleaning ldy but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I disabled all providers except for tvseries.video and still wouldn't play.
@jewbmx @Melann956
Finally got this to work; thx to mbebe: goojara_to.py
Works well for shows and movies:
Here's another source that can be tested: gomovies_sx
Follow the process above by copying to your \working\ folder and checking if the links from gomovies play...
Thanks for the extra help, ill look into all this stuff soon when i get enough ambition to do a new update. Hopefully enough times passed for a decent pile of scrapers and hosts to accumulate
Limping along with upmoves_net.py, gomovies_sx and goojara_to.py. Look at gomovies_sx comments as this solution seems to work for other scrapers.
So far, upmovies.net has been working pretty damn good.

Imma post this same msg on each issue so anyone involved in the scraper stuff of the addon can see it lol... If any of yall have scraper/site stuff you want added into the addon, feel free to make a new comment in whichever issue ya wanna and include said stuff or if its files add them to my scraper work folder/repo thru a fork or whatnot and i will gather all the stuff up and go thru it during my update process that imma be beginning soon. I will wait until around july 1st to start so yall can have these next 10ish days to see my comment and do what ya do lol :)
OK, using the latest Kodi Nexus and latest Scrubs V2 builds. Cleaned cache, providers and everyhting else. But when I click on a TV episode I only get Rabbitstream or Dooooood streams. But none of them seemstowork anymore. All this started about 3 weeks ago Mar 2024. Anybody got any ideas as to why only a few streams that don't work please?
