How to access database with a password? #11

I have a Phamerator mysql database created following the BYU Phamerator instructions. How do I add this to phamdb? Thanks!

Phamdb has limited support for importing existing databases, but it's kind of an advanced feature which requires a reasonable amount of technical knowledge. And even if you figure it out, databases created outside of phamdb are not gaurenteed to work.

That said, you can take a look at the instructions here: https://github.com/jglamine/phamdb/wiki/Using-PhamDB#importing-a-database

The hardest part would be figuring out how to get a MySQL dump of your existing database

But my suggestion is to just create a new blank database in PhamDB and add all of your phages to that. It might take a long time for a large database, but it's going to be easier in the long run.
