Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]

Not really a problem, It would just be an improvement for how we use Drawio. I think it would be easier to work with layers if the layers window was embedded into the right side tool bar. I have floor plans with multiple layers for room numbers, wiring, Fire escape, etc.

Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. Embed layers window into the right tool bar.

Describe alternatives you've considered A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered. I can just keep using layers in window mode. Screenshot 2023-09-27 132123

I second this, and share a scenario where it obstructs one's flow. Basically, when one resize the main window:

I can do without such a feature, but it becomes subtly frustrating when one resized the main window and uses layers.

A typical scenario instance is you work full screen on a large diagram, and then you want to see another piece of information in another program/document simultaneously:

Repeat a few times a day, and the frustration makes one think "why isn't the Layers window in the side bar too, a as tab?".

It's all about productivity, from users perspective. I would not care of the Layers window was a tab in the right side bar, personally.

A tab would be OK with me. I requested the bottom right portion of the screen because I run this on a large display and there is open screen real estate down there in Drawio. GIMP is setup with the layers in that corner, by habit that is where I would expect it to be.
