In general:
normalize license to AGPL3
forward support for Python 3 without dropping Python 2.7 support
MS VC++ support for extension
MS support for curses and GUI applications
setuptools+wheel support for distributions
some initial work in getting previously-unincluded repo files to source and wheel distributions
