New firmware 27946 breaks custom receiver casting. #528

Hi,

We noticed our custom receiver apps stopped working on some of our chromecasts
over the past few days. On investigation we traced the problem to firmware
update which seems to be rolling out. The issue described below effects both
our published app and unpublished dev version as well as a new basic custom
receiver we built using the provided sample docs. We have also tested with dev
and non dev devices. The issue seems to effect all of the above. The default
media receiver, youtube, etc all work but our custom ones do not.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Follow google code samples to create basic custom receiver. I've attached a
zip with basic_sender.html and basic_receiver.html. Upload these files online.
2. Setup new app id in cast console, update the basic_sender.html
3. Try to cast from sender in Chrome to chromecase with firmware 27946.

Note I dont think this is just Chrome extension issue, we have tested with
mobile senders and getting same problems.

What is the expected output?

It should load the custom receiver app into the chromecast as it does with
previous firmware and android TV.

What do you see instead?

Screen goes black.
Dev console is accessible but doesn't show any output.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

41.0.2272.76 (64-bit) OSX, Also iOS apps using SDK.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm doing more tests now and will update info as I learn more. Desperately need
a workaround or a fix as this is impacting our customers.

- Luke

Ok, we have fixed out end. Seems it was an issue with how we were loading
Connect SDK. Sorry for the noise, please delete or close this issue.
