[REQUEST] Add page to Wiki for help in skin customization #249

I've tried to search thing like that but without success. I think will be helpful to add a page in Wiki that contains various img_xxxx.png corrispondence to help customization of MIB skin. There is something like that for "Transparent Radiostation-Background for Seat & Skoda".

For example, in my case I've a MHI2_ER_VWG13_K4525 firmware. I'm searching for IMG for background in menu/media/radio to replace the default black background. I tried a lot of combination without success. Even print img number during mcf extraction (no number is displayed on background). On previous firmware I've done this customization, could be possible that VW decided to delete this background?

I've replaced img_2669.png and Home/Standby clock background is now ok. But Menu and other section doesn't use this background.

Thanks all!

Good idea, however... Each firmware has at least 3 skins, with each >1200 png files. And there are many different firmware versions, which each can have new versions of the skin file. So that Wiki would be HUGE. That's why included the "print number" feature, to make it easier to find each graphic. It could be the black background is now a solid color instead of an image.

Thanks for the answer. I know that is bit complicated to have Wiki for all firmwares. But relevant img are at the most 10/20 files. The great part are icon without need of explaination. "Print number" is very useful but this time didn't help me. If backgroud is now a solid color i think that i can't do anything. Maybe i can use another png to simulate background. I'll do some test.

I'll write back just in case. It might help someone else. Thanks Jille

The strangest thing are this white squares at the bottom corner. I think are very stratched imgs numbers. I'll try to identify what image causes it.
