Feature Request: Render Markdown when extracting comments #515

When extracting annotations, I'd like ZotFile to render markdown that I put in the annotations. This would make structured annotations and notes much easier for me.

A similar request has been discussed at length back in 2013, but official support appears to have been abandoned.

There is however a hacker who threw something together that some users report to work: https://github.com/fei0810/markdownhere4zotero You could install this extension to Zotero and see if the functionality is adequate for you as well.

What you're asking for is for the conversion process to happen when notes are imported, but this path to a solution would also work.
