Blackout the room? #19

Hi folks, I am working on the unity space and havent been sure how to address the front of the gallery that faces the street. I assume we will be blacking it out because otherwise the projections will not be visible in the daytime, and projections seem to be a core element of the project. Also considering the show is in June when the daylight reaches till about 8:30 I dont see much opportunity for a nighttime show where we can have the curtains drawn. Either we need to redesign around this issue or commit to blacking out the space.

Does the side room/smaller gallery space have blackout curtains as well or will we need to troubleshoot that issue?

Do we want to have some splash lighting between the curtains and front windows or large posters or signs to draw people in/let them know something communal is happening in that space?

If we do want to black things out I will need to get photos of what that looks like by the end of next week in order to model it in unity appropriately.

Blacking out the rooms:

find out what the blackout curtains in the gallery are like If we use the blackout curtains we are working with a 2d space in the windows If we want 3d dimensions would be possible to use the dividers in the gallery or create a shadow box? Window display Ideas:

live stream of the gallery on a tv in the window (maybe the unity gallery?) Title of the show in metallic Balloon Letters

Hey Josh, Just saw your comment. We could set up the gameplay near the window and then daisy chain to another tv on the other side of the curtains in the window that should display the game play to anyone on the street. Should be easy enough, if thats what we want to do
