First deployment does not look like template #4

Hi, I'm very new to this. I followed the steps outlined here and did not add or change anything but the deployed website looks nothing like the example template

Any idea what went wrong?

Hi @cjl12377 : I am not able replicate it. I tried making a new repo from the template and I still get the same website: https://jobindj.github.io/test-deploy/

Is your repo public so I can take a look?

I had the same problem...

Solved checking that GitHub Pages site was currently being built from the gh-pages branch and not main.

Check your repo settings under "pages".

Thanks @davideriboli ! I will add that to an FAQ section as @cjl12377 was not alone in having that trouble
