I'd like to easily test is a string matches a regexp.

Hello. I don't know what happened to this package, but it seems to have 
disappeared. Can we get Regex matchers again please?

hamcrest-text-patterns are delivered by a separate project, which builds on 
hamcrest.  The underlying project is here: 
http://code.google.com/p/hamcrest-text-patterns/ and there is a jar available 
for download on the hamcrest downloads page here: 
code.google.com/p/hamcrest/downloads/detail?name=hamcrest-text-1.1.jar
