Ran ember init and update blueprints
- Modified index.js to match ember-cli recommended pattern
- Added a test to ensure that the library is exported

I did this in preparation for dropping the bower dependency and moving it to NPM - seemed like updating was probably a useful first step.

@jrjohnson I am (however not actively). The upgrade looks great. You covered a lot of grounds with it - thank you!
