@micschk I was looking at your comment in my email and thinking 'but it's not a DataObject' 😄 but now I see you've updated it. This is really interesting, and annoying that $this->record can be one of two things 🤪. I don't have time to test personally, but the fix looks solid to me. Thanks for tracking that down!
