Sandstorm's tt-rss is unable to add particular feeds #17

Feeds that a normal tt-rss install is able to add fail on Sandstorm's version of tt-rss, for example http://legacyproject.human.cornell.edu/feed/

When attempting to add that feed, I get "Couldn't download the specified URL: false" in a Sandstorm popup window. I don't see any stacktraces in the debug log or in tt-rss's log, so I'm unsure what's causing the issue.

Unfortunately this bug causes multiple different feeds to fail to import/add correctly.

It's interesting because loading that feed tries to download it for me, usually feeds render in the browser.
