It works on Wine.

I had no luck with libportmidi-dev or https://github.com/AndrewBelt/portmidi but I think the issue is described here: https://github.com/VCVRack/Rack/pull/111

Midi problems are fixed in latest. Install libportmidi-dev from the system.
