Suggestion from sp1989:

Have you considered adding a shuttle program and a space station program? I only ask because the only reason I don't build shuttles in career mode is because.......there are no reasons to build shuttles. Like launch a space telescope or add sections to a station and dock a fixed wing vehicle.

Recommend ordering base building by distance and number of kerbals.

Shuttles ordered by tonnage launched at launch pad subtracted by tonnage landed on the runway.

Which is fine, unless the player has Bases and Stations installed, which will laugh at your "preferred order" because it picks a body the player has landed on at random.

IMO this is stuff that's better handled by Contract Packs.
