Multiple selection for dropdown #415

Good day developers,

I was looking through the internet for a solution to allow user to have the option to select multiple options in the dropdown menu but I was only able to locate one stackoverflow thread regarding this topic. I was wondering if the developers have any plans to add in this feature?
