@ashkulz Unfortunately it was not released because it was not capable of running Rails yet. It is much closer (some OID registration issues need to get ironed out but HEAD can run simple scaffolded models) and soon(tm) it will come out as 70.1 (along with the other adapters).
I will leave this open to hopefully remember to comment on your jsonb_accessor issue that postgresql support is out.
Thanks, @enebo! I'll re-title the issue so that it's much clearer with your clarification :+1:
Hello @enebo I'm trying to update Heroku jruby getting started guide from Rails 4 (yikes) to (ideally) Rails 7. Any updates on progress or blockers? Thanks for working on this!
@schneems The first release will work well enough for basic scaffolding but there are some issues with OID registration which I don't fully grok yet. This is one specific reason there has not been a release yet. Our internal suite is at 1F/2E but AR unit tests are still a bit of a tire fire. I plan on spending the rest of the week to try and settle more of that (and hopefully that helps me learn more about our OID issue).
@ashkulz @schneems I just put out 70.1 of postgresql. Still some issues but we pass 99.8+% of all AR specs so give it a try.
thank you!
The tag v70.0 was made last month, and the following releases were pushed to RubyGems on November 30 by @enebo:
But there is no 70.0 release for the activerecord-jdbcpostgresql-adapter gem -- considering that it's part of this repository, I guess this is an oversight?
