As I recall, it's related to the setup script not copying the needed dll files. This was fixed on my repo https://github.com/wingkitlee0/scikits.bvp_solver
I am not sure if the Visual Studio c++ is related tho..
For using gfortran with visual studio c++ generally, you can check out my blog post: https://wingkitlee0.github.io/calling-gfortran-routine-visual-c-windows/#
I am trying to install the scikits.bvp_solver on windows 10 using Python 3 on Enthought Canopy.
I have installed a 64 bit Gfortran compiler, as well as Windows Visual Studios C++ (2019 edition) along with the C++ build tools. Before doing so, the pip install would return an error telling me to install Visual Studios C++ build tools.
Now that I have installed C++ and Gfortran, the installer runs, but now returns the following, rather long error message, indicating many LNK2001 errors as well as and error code 1. I am unsure how to resolve this, I have tried to reinstall the compilers following a few other threads to ensure they have been properly installed.
