I've gone through the rubric and given myself what I think is a fairly accurate mark down below. But overall, I think the E-Commerce Pattern Library project went pretty well for me. I believe that I represented all relevant website components in my pattern library, even some that went beyond what we ended up coding. I also added several variations that could have been used as well. I am not exactly certain whether it would fully make sense to someone else, since we never did the group aspect of the assignment. I think it would though. I don't believe that any pattern library components are missing, but I didn't fully finish coding the checkout form. I just couldn't understand how to complete it while not using so much html.

I think that this my favourite web dev assignments. I liked the weekly step-by-step process. I also think I comprehend pattern libraries and their functionalities pretty well.

RUBRIC

Style & design — 3 points (I worked really hard to keep my design cohesive and visually appealing)

Patterns — 2 points (I designed mostly for the pages I knew I was going to have to use, though I did make patterns for a shopping cart page and some other small things. I'm just not sure if I have all the patterns an actual usable website would need)

Explanations — 3 points (I tried my best to write out understandable and unique explanations for all my patterns)

Accessibility — 2 points (I'm always a little confused about making sure I've included everything to make my websites accessible to everyone, so its possible I missed something. I did however test it for users with colour blindness and all the colours have enough contrast)

Semantics — 3 points (I used a lot of html tags correctly)

Responsiveness — 3 points (I made sure to make my website as beautiful and responsive as I could at any size. The only trouble I had with this was with the banners, but you helped me sort it out to look their best even at the small screen sizes)

Code Quality — 3 points (I always double and triple-check to make sure the code is put together correctly, especially since we weren't using Markbot for this website)

Git & commit — 2 points (I tried to make my commit messages accurate and punctually correct, but I definitely could have committed more often)

TOTAL: 21 points/ 24 points
