Using Phonetrack in Home Assistant #22

Hello!

I'm looking for a solution, that would allow me to pull data from Nextcloud's Phonetrack app (or NC Maps) into Home Assistant and use it as a device_tracker.

What are the possibilities to achieve that?

Don't know if you ever found your solution. I came across This, and just set it up today. Works perfectly for me.

Thanks for replying! I totally forgot that I created this ticket :) But yeah - I've been using the same exact custom integration for a while now and works OK. The bigger issue is that phonetrack app itself frequently stops sending the updates until I manually open it up and toggle the session off and back on again. I tried tweaking the battery optimization options, allowing the persistent notification to be there - still works quite flaky :/

Are you using Android 14? And any special ROM? Checkout my comment on the other recent Github issue.
