Consider tagging versions #277

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Not necessarily an issue but QOL. I am packaging this in Nix. Tagging the versions would allow for easier updating of the Nix expression by not having to use the commit hashes.

Just make a release tag with the updated version. Ex: v1.7.17
