Students cannot see activity menu entries if they are not assigned to a group #18

It is reasonable for them to not have the group related menu, but the activity wise discussion board, material etc. should be accessible.

This is a privacy setting which for now we have decided to implement this way:

Activities are private and only accessible to group members. The info shown to external students is basic (name and description).

There is a situation, which is maybe what you mention, where Students have been added to an activity, but are still not part of a group. Until now these students weren't able to access the Activity pages, but we have enabled them to do so.

Does that mean that every member of an activity is now allowed to look at the activity scoped files/material/videos? If that is the case this issue can/should be closed.
