Suggest getting AutoPerry to do it, so an admin-only page into which you could type or cut-and-past a message. It would be easy enough to arrange for it to target helpers (actually ‘people who have helped’) and/or organisers (actually ‘people who have organised events’) and/or everyone else. You’d be limited to plain-text message, no attachments, etc. because I don’t really want to have to build a full email client into AutoPerry.

The alternative would be to support export of addresses into your email program or a mailing list somewhere. This would be more flexible, but prone to getting out of date and increases the risk of leaking email addresses.

Add extra email preference so that users can, for example, suppress these messages while still getting event notifications.

Has to be pre-launch because of extra email preference - easier to capture from the start
