Google maps 3.15 are not loading anymore

For our project we were using 3.15 but it is not loading anymore

now when you specify v 3.15 it loads 3.16 

https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.15&key=AIzaSyAGojdnVLvPXu5mC5fopYTbY
7gqslCUHLA&sensor=false

if you open the link above you can see that it is loading 3.16 even if you have 
specified 3.15 in the url.

How can I load 3.15 so that we don't have to change all the maps that we have 
developed

on the bottom of the linked document you can see that even if you specify in 
the url version 15 it loads version 16. However if you change in the url to 
3.17 or 3.18 it shows it correctly. 
I know that in the documentation is written that 3.15 is retired but there 
should be some way to load it I think ...
