It hasn't been updated, but it doesn't seem broken. Badge counter is not implemented in v0.4.3-firefox. Also, to use this extension in firefox, you need to grant permissions from the Add-ones Manager.
We are planning to release v0.6.0, which adds features that were omitted in Firefox due to compatibility issues.
It was definitely broken and is still not working with the latest version. All cookie downloads from your extension are failing:
while all the other ones are working fine.
@kairi003 Furthermore, using the copy
button and pasting the content shows that your extension is unable to obtain any cookie whatsoever on any website.
Would you tell me your firefox and os version?
sure :) windows 10 and firefox 124.0.2
If I can chime in, here's what I see on Windows 10 + Firefox 126.0.1 + version 0.6.2:
Export works, but Export As always gets a failed download, even if I select the default directory for downloads (the same directory that Export uses). I went to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
and popped out an Inspect window for this extension, but I didn't see any console messages corresponding to the failure.
The "Only When Clicked" extension permission level (which was the default for me) finds 0 cookies, but the "Always Allow on somedomain.com
" permission level successfully finds the cookies. Perhaps this is explained in issue #73 (although that focuses on Chrome)? Just to be clear, I'm using the puzzle-piece menu on my Firefox's toolbar to manage permissions, as seen here:
(Additionally, if I go to Manage Extension, there's an "Access your data for all websites" option which is off by default, and I'm guessing it has to be on in order to use Export All Cookies.)
@adamency @JoselleAstrid Thanks for the information, and sorry for the delay in responding. We will investigate later.
The Firefox extension is still at v0.4.3 and is currently broken. Please update it with the new version.
In any case, thanks a lot for your work on this project.
