So when listening to WWV, there's a few minute details that are different.
The most obvious is the missing low frequency hum that starts a few ms before the click of each second, and continues until a few ms after the click. I couldn't find the exact frequency or exactly how many ms from the wiki but it's definitely there. When the tones stop for the voice announcement, the hum also stops. The hum is only present when there is a constant tone.
Of course there is the missing double click, aka leap second.
Second 26 and 59 are supposed to have no click, only the low frequency hum pulse.
So these aren't really that important, it's still awesome with the missing details but hopefully this can act as a list in case you ever feel like working on it again.
Thanks for noting these! I'll have to see how simple it would be to emulate the BCD tone. I wouldn't be encoding information, but something modulating 100 Hz would get pretty close I think.
