Remove ads from Social and Promotions tab #50

I liked Inbox because it didn't have advertisement :)

It would be great if this extension could also remove the ads that sometimes appear in the Social and Promotions tab.

FWIW, I don't see ads in GMail on my browser, but I'm using uBlock Origin, which I think blocks the ads there.

Just my opinion: If it were up to me, I'd say adblocking out of scope and is better handled by adblockers. (But it's not up to me, and it could be decided differently.)

That's interesting because I am also using uBlock Origin and I still see the ads. Maybe it has to do with the fact I use Vivaldi as browser and I keep Gmail in the side panel. However, this extension is working OK there, so I am not sure.

It looks like the extension can already group the messages by date (e.g. Today, Yesterday...) and the ads are left in their own group at the top of the list. It shouldn't be difficult to hide that div.

My solution (which is kinda bad cause sometimes important stuff shows up in promotions) is that I have a filter on all Promotions that marks all of it as read. I can still check the tab like a secondary spam page but it will never display badges for it on the web page and it will never show up as a bundle in my primary tab on the mobile app.

Only issue is (as I said before) sometimes important stuff like "Someone logged into X account was this you?" emails and password recovery emails show up in promotions. If that wasn't the case id archive it in the process.
