Geonode layer management from QGIS

Upload and download layers / groups from QGIS. In this task, we will provide a widget in QGIS to allow the user to easily download one or more layers from GeoNode, store them locally and then add them to the map. If the GeoNode backend is a QGIS Server backend, we will also fetch the style file(s) for the layer and apply them to the added layers so that, when rendered, the layers will look the same as they do on the server.

Note: we are referring to physical layers, not qlr files.
