LoRa device doesn't start after softboot #6

When performing a softboot (Ctrl-D in REPL) there won't be any join. No data is received on the gateway either so it seems the LoRa chip is in an undefined state. Check the community if this is a known and avoidable problem as is makes debugging hard,

Digging through the LoPy forum on Pycom did not reveal a solution.
