Keybase mobile client hang/freeze/lockup #10255

This has happened several times, so logging it as an issue. On the Keybase iOS mobile client, I will often get an iOS notification that I have received a new keybase message. However, when I open the Keybase app to view it I am presented either with stale messages or with no messages at all. The only way I've found to correct this is to force quit the app and restart it.

I've only been able to catch this in the act once in the last week or so. And when I did, it seems it was a result of the client not having a good connection to the keybase severs. After a short period of time, a popup appeared at the top explaining this but I failed to get a screenshot of it. I guess the question then becomes if the app was able to post a notification displaying there was a new message - is it expected that upon opening the actual app the message would need to be (re-)downloaded from the keybase servers before it is displayed?

I can't characterize this well, but, the keybase app on iOS crashes when I try to do things with a markdown file in my public folder. I sent a log today when it asked. I was just trying to send the markdown file to Editorial for editing...
