Restarting the Windows machine did resolve this issue, but does not address why the K drive became unavailable in the first place.
@zanderz opinions?
We have been working on updater errors in which kbfsdokan.exe can be killed without shutting down gracefully, leaving the driver in an un-mountable state until restart. There's no way to tell what happened in this case without logs. There haven't been driver updates recently.
Got this, and reboot didn't help. Logs sent: https://github.com/keybase/client/issues/10954
Hi got the same problem, tried the solution described above in #10954 . FYI: Installed keybase app yesterday for first time on this machine (surface pro 3). It worked but with some issues I'm not sure about: After deinstalling the Dokan version coming with this KeyBase app version, and the necessary reboot my windows constantly crashed after boot and before login. I fixed it by starting once in safe mode and then restarting. However I am not sure this is the reason, but I didnt make other changes on this machine in the last days. Maybe this is a known problem?
Same problem for me
@mykiwi please run keybase log send
Keybase GUI Version: 1.0.44-20180223132058+d993081
Opening the public/private folders previously worked on this Windows machine. However, there is an error connecting to the K: drive now. This problem persists through restarting Keybase.
