You are asking me to include KDD (method) belonging to Data Mining (an application domain) which itself is one among many categories belonging to Machine Learning which in turn is a branch of statistics and computer science.

Convince me that there is something very special about KDD/Data Mining over all the method/domain/categories/branches that might be out there, and why it alone needs to be in the CSE Glossary.

Since the conflicts were not removable, I've directly added KDD under "Trends" under Machine Learning. Congrats @ChristopherArokiaraj !
