fortran compiler Mac OS #45

Hi folks, may I ask you whether there is a preferred fortran compiler for Mac OS to work ? I am experiencing issues with lblrtm installation because of my gfortran (the usual problem... )

Hi Valentina @vdorazi, did you get TelFit to work for you? I do not have a good answer for you, my best guidance is to consult existing GitHub Issues. Some folks have found recent success by using the pip installation method. If you are still experiencing friction with installation, can you attempt the pip install approach and let us know how it goes?

Update: Just noticing that the Issue was promptly closed--- is that an indication that the code worked in the end? I hope so! 😀

Hi Kevin, thanks a lot for your email. Yes I realised I had two different (conflicting) gfortran installations, and that was causing issues.

Pip installation works fine by me on Mac OS Monterey Thanks heaps! Cheers, Valentina
