@dayer4b appreciate the PR, will take a look and see about updating the UI to accomodate.

my method is a bit brutal - it incorporates any number of multiple devices and treats them all exactly the same. so it ends up working fine with the UI. whether or not that's the right strategy is a good question. it won't allow the devices to have different settings. worked well enough for me!
