XMLTemplateCache should write newly added templates to disk by default as 
atomically is possible without writing our own file system. (change 
util.[gen]writeto to write a "." + fname file first and on success link to 
fname and unlink the . filename? Checking for . filenames could be used to 
recover from an error)
