Links not visible in IE9 #208

In IE9, links are present, but are styled identically to normal text, making it 
look like they don't exist. They are still insertable and editable, just not 
visible.

This is fixed in the 2.0 branch (and backported into the reason Loki build) - 
appears to have been some kind of timing issue though the exact mechanics of it 
are unclear. In any case, switching around the order in which the link element 
is built appears to have fixed this problem in IE9:
