High Memory and CPU usage. Laptop lags a lot with Intel i7 7th gen and 12GB RAM

There is another recent report on Ubuntu https://github.com/kiteco/issue-tracker/issues/497 So it looks like unrelated to the operating system. The memory does not get released when no active coding and editor is closed. Kite claims when no active coding memory is 200-300MB but the kited keeps the memory when no editor is running

• does this error occur for Python only or all languages?
• If you restart Kite and all its processes, what's the memory usage like? After coding and stopping?

I am also facing a similar issue on 16gb ram i7 7th gen, this occurs mostly with python and nothing changes even if we restart kite
