... Between this and the previous bug, it would explain why this didn't work on my hardware, but not why the older thing didn't work for me, but worked for Normmatt.

My ak2i also not work. In my test, only R4 series works reset command and reading chip id. (original R4/R4 Gold/GW blue chip)

My AK2i is 8181 rev and they can't reset and initialize.
