i have a short question: can you tell me how i can specify page numbers to be placed 0.5inch from bottom, and change left margins only to a specified amount?

Hello @kks32 , when I use custommargin, the whole body text is also got affected. I just want page number to move a bit down, can I do that?

Have you defined the margins in the preamble.tex? To see the default margin settings refer to line 625 in the file PhDThesisPSnPDF.cls.
