Add Social Share Buttons to Blog Page #5982

Open shivamgupta2020 opened 6 months ago

shivamgupta2020 commented 6 months ago

Describe the change you'd like to see Add social share buttons (with blog context) to each blog post's top, bottom, or side.

Additional context Usually, there is a button for each social site (at the top or bottom or side) that I can click, which opens up the post ready to be shared. (currently, there is no button for sharing a blog). This feature will boost user engagement and content visibility.

@aliok @Cali0707 I guess for the latest release of the Knative Documentation Website, the blog page design is still not ready yet so we can include this issue in it. From the previous release i.e. 1.14, it is evident that the blogs didn't contain the share to social media button.

aliok commented 6 months ago

Yes, there are no such buttons at this moment.

@aliok, I encountered an error while updating this feature on the blog page. I talked with Calum, who said this would be implemented after the design is ready. So, I'm holding off on the issue for now.

Anyone can contribute to the design of this button feature if they want.
