💡 Summary

using Native Alpha (uses android system webview), the settings and remove button do not work

🥰 Expected Behavior

settings button opens widget settings X button removes widget

🤬 Actual Behavior

clicking either button just starts to drag the widget like they don't exist

1. open instance in native alpha
2. open the widget editor
3. attempt to remove or configure a widget

I tested the widget on a CherryPick-based kitty.social server on my Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G running Native Alpha v1.4.0, Android 14, but the symptoms you mentioned are not reproducible.

Does it work properly on other browsers than Native Alpha?

As someone who uses Vivaldi web browser on both desktop and mobile, I know sometimes the filters build in Vivaldi can be powerful, but also trip false flags, and mistakenly block harmless things. In Vivaldi, in the address bar, you will see a shield icon (see screenshot). Click on this and disable the ad blocking and tracking. It will only disable for your site, so don't worry.

Extra pro-tip. Even if this doesn't solve the problem. You should check to see if you have enabled all ad blocking sources within Vivaldi. If you have, I suggest you disable the four (4) that are listed as "ABP" and "Ad Block Plus". Those 4 tend to break sites more than anything (far too aggressive). At one time, they even blocked, DuckDuckGo from loading.
