Thanks for sharing this trick. I have an iPad Air 2 and really suffering about doing this again and again until works We really want something to make this device respond from first click like other devices.
This trick does also work with the ipad mini 4. i testet it and it works.
Could you guys get into jailbreak state or just to the black screen and not completing, my iPad won't finish so I just go into safe mode so I can at least run jailbreak apps but no tweaks are enabled... @Vitauser @iOS4all
My mini 4 gets direkt into the jailbrak state. The Spinning wheel and then its jailbreaked. Perfekt. But ive got random reboots ;(
This is the crash log I just got after opening about 6 apps and trying to jailbreak (it got to the black screen with the wheel and did not Finish, it just rebooted at the end after freezing)

@Vitauser I've only been able to rejailbreak once and I was trying to safe mode but it booted into jailbreak, but with the iPad Air 2 once jailbroaken it's very stable, it's just hard to get into the jailbreak.
Ipad mini 4 very unstable bit easy into jailbreakmode with the 6 apps open thing.
@Vitauser hopefully @kpwn will see this and maybe a fix will come out and you will have to use another method to jailbreak certain devices, this method should help with iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 because iPad mini 4 as you've stated works just random reboots and iPad Air 2 gets very close to finishing.
I can vouch for this solution, tried to jailbreak right after a restart and it would just send me into a restart. Loaded 6 or more apps, jail role on the first try.
Sometimes it works best if you manually restart by sliding to power off then turning it back on
What device you on @Skates1616
64 GB iPad Air 2
@Skates1616 I can't even get into jailbreak mode, just substrate safe mode
I just managed to get in jailbreak mode again I ran Yalu first instead of last along with 6 apps and it worked first try
Hi,
On the iPad Air 2 if you run Yalu with no apps running in the background it almost fails every time but I've noticed if you open about 6 random apps Yalu is almost successful 95% of the time it will say 'storage almost full' and get to the black screen with the spinning wheel but it freezes at the end and does not complete. Also you get get to safe mode easy with no issues.
I know this probably isn't the place to post this @kpwn but I thought this is the only place you will see it and it may help to a potential fix for the iPad Air 2.
Thanks
