What steps will reproduce the problem?
1 $ svn checkout http://gendev.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ gendev-read-only 
2 $ cd gendev-read-only 
3 $ make 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Hello there, the deb file when installing ubuntu software centre says it's that 
it's of bad quality, when installing on the terminal I cant continue and do 
this part 
Woo hoo, tools are all setup. Now let's build sgdk ...

    $ . ~/.gendev 
    $ cd gendev-read-only/sgdk 
    $ make install 

please help me on this because I've got some projects I want to start and I 
cant use windows (I hate it) it's a bad OS and once I start using linux, 
specially ubuntu I cant use anything else.

I've attached a file with what ubuntu software centre asks me to send you about 
the bad quality deb file.
